B|_ank is my solo drumming project. This is where I play intense technical drums that are triggering samples and synthesizers. There is also a strong video element which is all manipulated live by the audio signal. I've been touring this project extensively since 2016. 

What first started as a noise project eventually turned into written electroacoustic music when a popular band had asked me to open a tour of theirs. I fully understood that nobody wanted to hear a 45 min harsh noise set at one of those shows so I decided to use the tools I had (and buy my first laptop - used at an unclaimed baggage center) to write songs that could potentially be accessible to a more generalized audience. I fell in love with this style of songwriting and continue doing it to this day. 

With this project I have played live with many popular acts like The Flaming Lips, Deerhoof, of Montreal, Dan Deacon, Melt Banana, Lightning Bolt, Guerilla Toss, Mannequin Pussy, and Wombo.
